Cards, gsd format

This card is just one of the many created by our very own Ms. Tina.. She is incrediblly talented and well I just love her work and her work. This was made for a wedding. Its hard to see all the little details on this card, but lets face it, with the great designs, who needs to add any detail to Tina's files...These creations of Tina's are so beautiful and fun to work with. Oh and the bride and groom loved this card. I am going to try and do one of every design I have of Tina's...Her store is here, in case any of you would like to purchase the gsd files.. If anything please visit Tina's store and blog, and prepare to be amazed and see some beautiful creations....

12x 12 scrapbook album covers

Here are a couple more 12x12 album covers that I personalized for other customers....The top album, I incorporated serendipity squares for the title and for the leafy vine die cuts for a corner embellishment. Did a lot of stamping to grunge it up, and hand beaded some wire for a side embellishment down the spine of the scrapbook cover, I like to use different things, and to be different, as NO one will ever have a scrapbook album like these. I love to use metal embellishments, lots of fibers, and if possible a photo of the person receiving the album. Always think outside the box. And really go for it...Another favorite thing of mine to use is popsicle sticks, paint em, and them stamp the title or key word, and place where ever you like....Squashed bottle caps, and license plates are another favorite of mine..Espically in altered arts. Nothing goews to waste in my house. lol...

Family memories Album 8x8

This is an 8x8 album I made for a gal to give to her Sister for an upcoming Birthday....
WHat you will need...
Either a premade album that you can re-cover, or make it from scatch from chipboard.
Papers of your choosing
embellishments
stamps
versa-fine ink
rub-ons
over lays
Heidi Swapp flowers and clock faces
Manilla shipping tag
Slide mounts
microscope slides
Die cuts
and all of your choosing and theme type....
I love to use vintage papers, back ground stamps to grunge it up, followed by rub-ons, and even over lays..
Lots of die cuts, charms on safety pins, ribbons, and flowers, and for extra touches, I stamped a glass microscope slide, covered in gold foil and used as a title block on front cover..When making your own album, remember there are NO rules, and the sky's the limit, depending on your personal style, the options are endless, so have fun with it ladies....

Technique Tuesday,Heat embossing......

Technique Tuesday, Today is a little project called heat embossing......
Items you will need.....
Versa Mark or other embossing pad of choice
STamps of your choosing
Embossing powder in your choice of colors
Bone folder, or Scor-pal
Any embellishment, or stamped image you like....
For this project I used a gsd flower pattern, that was cut on my SIlhouette. Once the flowers were all cut, I  took my scor-pal and scored down each flower petal, then I inked up my stamps with the Versa-mark and randomnly stamped images onto the flowers.Covered with embossing powder, and heat set it. Once cooled, again scored each petal, and stacked random sizes to make layered flowers... Add flourishes, vines, or leaves to make complete floral kits...You can also use the Spellbinders scallop round die to make these exact flowers....
You may also skip the embossing and just stamp the images.

Pumpkin Festival, Mishicot

Wow, what van I say about the Mishicot Pumpkin Festival, although there was plenty to do for all age groups, and  a great turnout, great food, pumpkin baked, cooked, and made up in any way possible, and it was all great. The parade was awesome. But.....as a vendor, and this is purely, what I seen and was told to me  by other vendors, it was not good at all..Met some very nive people, and have few more gals to add to the list. But all in all, the people were not very friendly, some were down right rude, and 1 lady even picked a piece of my work and, literally, picked everything off the cover, and then said it was junk. I could not believe my eyes or ears, I would never ever do that to someone, ever!! It was to say the least a very interesting day. I will not go back there. I missed Two Rivers people, and the friendly ways of doing things we seem to have.. I was very disappointed in some of the people, we all have bad days and do not feel like being chipper everyday, but that was just ridiculous. I am sad that the market in TR is done, but on the bright side, the market at the expo starts on Nov 14, and I will be there, as well as Ms Shelly. And we have  A LOT of surprises in stoore for you gals....SO stay tuned....
Hugs, and happy crafting,
Ronnie

There here

Hello ladies, I was so excited to get my new machines. I know most of you have asked me why so many machines?? Well let me tell you, First of All I love my SIlhouette desk top cutter, and although it is a dirty word on a favorite board of mine, I would have been lost without of the help and wonderful gals over there. You can check out some of their blogs located in my side bar, as you are all familiar with the UKScrappers artists. SO I could never ever give up that machine. It's awesome. The cricut also has it's place in mylife, and the Sizzix well, i could never ever let that go. Each system has it's pro's and con's and each sytem has a job in my life. SO I will never give any of them up. I hope to some day add to the collection and get a Craft Robo, just like my icons over at UKScrappers. SO ladies, I do not recommend buying them all, start with something that matches your needs and abilities. Not like I did. Lots of hair loss, lots of sleepless nights. STart in your comfort zone and move up from there. Hopfully all of you do have the addictive behavior I seem to have. Dear Santa, I want it all! LOL have a great day crafty ones
Hugs
Ronnie
