Hello crafty ones.....I hope you are all having a great day. It's Monday the start of a new week. The start of a new to do list, and a bit of hoping to do things. I was just informed by my 2 sons that a big box is arriving for me. And in that box is a gift for me. It's not my Birthday as that was Christmas Eve, it's not Mothers day, and there reply was, can't we do things just because we love you? If I guess will you guys tell me..With 2 big grins and a couple sheepish smiles came a bog NO. SO I am left here wondering and full of anticipation. What could it be...They bought me the Gypsy and a bunch of other items for Christmas and mt Birthday. I have a computer, I have everything I need.SO I am a bit confused as to what it could be...These boys of mine are something, it's the same as a few years ago, on Christmas day a pkg arrived fed-ex for me. It was from my Son in Louisiana, in the envelope it simply said, for all the sacrifices you made, and for being the greatest Mom of all times...And in that envelope were 2 all expenses paid tickets on a 10 day cruise. I was floored. How can one top this. I wish they would not spend there money on me. As I am sure we all feel that way about our kids, It's like a code or something of Mom's. I feel so guilty when they buy me things or send me flowers for no reason. Anyway, back to stamp talk....After looking at that card and wondering what I was thinking, well, I tried something else hoping to do better...And well it's not any better, but with a lot of persistence I will get hang of this stamping....lol I hope! So I went back to my old way and pulled out the Sizzix, SIlhouette, Cricut, and a punch. And this is what I came up with.....
I did emboss the saying with Versa mark and gold embossing powder. SO there is a bit of stamping on this card.....SO there ya have it. Not completely stamped, but not completely scrapped either...It's the cowards way out....Ladies have a wonderful day, and a great week...
BOX UPDATE.....they were kind enough to give me a clue....the box weighs 72pounds...They know I have had my eye on that new Barrel Racing saddle, weighs about that much with the packing I suppose. That saddle is da bomb...Its ostrich seat, with silver and bling.......heres a pic...I hope this is it(keeping in mind mine would be a hunter green color, with the cowboy cross instead of the hearts). That would be fun to kick some can in!!!!.. If not, it will be fun playing the game....
