8x8 Scrapbook covers, albums

Here are a few more of the altered scrapbook albums...It is so much nicer to personalize them, rather than just a plain old front. All you need is (5) sheets os 12x12 paper, and (2) sheets of 81/2x11 paper. a glue stick, and whatever else you want to match the theme of the book. The font on the book if from Sizzix, and called Endless love. A few Prima flowers, brads, and lace. You can be as basic or fancy as you want to. I left this one rather empty looking, which is very hard for me to do....

This is a cute little book for that special baby/toddler in your life. The tear bears are a pattern from My ScapChick, and Lisa's Piecings. Spellbinders for dies, and a fiskars border punch, a few dimensional stickers and a cute little saying finishes off this book..

This one is basically the same thing, only I used my Cricut and my Silhouette for the die cuts and My SCrapChick for the tear bear. A bit of inking and chalking, and pop dots is all you need..

This book I used the Silhouette for the angel and branches, topped off with a few Prima flowers and it's all done. Well it could be done. These books are so easy to do, and are the perfect size. Espically for the beginner scrapbooker. They are 8x8 and not quite as intimidating as a full 12x12 page or album to do. I prefer glue sticks for these types of projects, as it stiffens up the covers and gives a nice base for adhering other items.. Have a craft happy day ladies...

Love 'em, Ronnie. But my favorite is still the Acrylic scrapbook. WE had a good time last night, and a great turn out. Some gals made 5 washer pendants. Beforehand, Deb and I stopped and got something to eat for dinner. She was a widow last night. Carol Lee was there. Teresa from Cedarburg, and Rosie Cyr both from the markets came. It was good to see them again. I posted a pic on my blog, of the fused glass pendant I made at Amy's class. I just love it! Tonight Amy is giving a class on Painted Stoneware"...cups, bowls, etc. And today, my blog is being featured on StampinUp LNstampers for the Dove Glass Block Luminary I posted. I've got an Etsy Shop up now...need to decrease some inventory...lol Runnin' out of space here.
