Gift Card Boxes

 Hey Ladies, as I was sitting here feeling sorry for myself, I started searching for another project. As I hate just giving gift cards, or gift certificates, I found a very talented lady on cricut.com. She designed the perfect sized box/envie for gift cards, as well as some other awesome projects. All done on her cricut. Jamie is her name, and her blog is amazing. Visit her here  These amazing little gems can be done up for any occasion. Decorate front, and or back. Add ribbons for a handle to hang on the Christmas tree, or no ribbons for the male person in your life. I love these I have cut and am in the process of decorating 50 of these. Bank nightmare

It is a beautiful fall morning today, and at exactly 2 minutes after 9am I got a call from my bank asking if I have enjoyed my trip to the Czech republic area...I said well no, and they replied we already know that. We are calling you to let you know that your account has been a victim of theft. It appears they hacked into my paypal account, which as we all know is linked to our personal accounts. Well in 4 days they got away with every penny that was in those 3 accounts. The good news is I get it back, the bad news is it takes up to 4 weeks. So monday morning I will be filling out the paper work, and re-doing all my banking. The lady at the bank said for those of us with paypal accounts to change our passwords every week to 10 days. Also to set up a seperate savings that is linked to the paypal and only keep a small amount of money in it. But the password protection and switching of it will reduce the possibility by about 75%. And of course we all know not to open emails from those we don't know. Which I am very careful of that. There is also a green tea company out there who takes money every month, which my hubby got caught up in. It took months to get them and the money transfers stopped. So please ladies to avoid such a horrible thing happening to yourselves becarful and change your passwords and take precautions. It is a hard thing to deal with and swallow knowing there are those out there who have such capabilities and use them for bad.

Halloween Blog Candy giveaway

 So ladies, The Halloween challenge is on. With a ton of awesome Halloween papers, cute Halloween stamps that have never seen ink, and my lack of card making lately. I thought why not a challenge with great prizes...SO far in the blog candy package there is a Fastenator stapler the small size perfect for card making. An assortment of brads, for Christmas, and everyday use. There is a Plaid brass stencil, paper clips, a pack of ribbons, Queen and company embellies, a grab bag of prima flowers, a Christmas themed stamp set from Sizzix, 1set of glitter black ABC's and as the list of cards grow so will the package of candy. I will keep updating the blog candy list as the list of cards grow...

Friday, finally....Spellbinders Pumpkin

 Hello crafty ones, I am glad it is Friday!!!!

A dear friend of mine Judy Beth whom I have met at the the craft shows, is such a sweetie.  like all of my friends at SCS, she too is a beautiful card maker, and has made me this cute little pumpkin. Being that time of year I thought I might share with you this adorable pumpkin. Judy made it with the spell binders round scallop die, cutting several depending on how thick you want it, then inking the edges and finally fold each in half and glue together continue doing this untill the desired fullness of the pumpkin is achieved..take a scrap piece of brown paper roll and glue for the stem. Then using your favorite leaf and vine punch cut out several, ink edges add veins and glue to top of pumpkin, and within a few minutes you have a cute table display. Pumpkins of all sizes and shades of orange.  Perfect for any halloween or thanksgiving table top display. Have fun with your pumpkins.

For all you Cricut users out there, there are several cartridges that have the round scallop circles that you could use to make the same pumpkin, apples, or any other round fruit or vegetable. Tuesday Treats DT Project

Hello crafty ones, Tuesday I presented a project to the Tuesday Treats, Gypsy Design Team. I was so stressed out over doing a good job, I actually could not eat or sleep for days. Anyway I was to create some type of project using the cartridge Life's a beach. so I designed a mini album in the shape of a sand pail. I hope you like...here's the Tuesday treats blog

I belong to several message boards, and have 2 of my own. I am always on the lookout for new and amazing products and projects to do, well while scouting arounf on scrapbook.com I found this amazingly talented woman. I mean she is InCrEdIbLe!!! you gotta see her work...This is just a sneek peek, click on her link to see more. First of ll she makes the most beautiful shoes, and masks, you would never guess they made out of paper, and the baskets are stunning, and the boxes, are yummy....I plan making these for christmas, only hoping they turn out half as nice...click the links you will not be sorry...

They wanted a vintage feel for Grandmas photo, not completely satisfied with the out come, so we will see if it stays like this....The next one is for my Niece to give her Sister, she wanted bold bright and girly...Still looks kinds plain and empty to me. Granddaughter's 2nd Birthday

 My dear sweet Granddaughter, Adrianna had her 2nd birthday a few days ago. She totally loves Grandma's (ME)dogs, Rookie and Ryder, she is always talking about them asking about them and can never get et enough of them, when I asked what she wanted for her Birthday she said, Rookie and Ryder, well since she can't have them, here's the next best thing. A clip board with  Rookie and Ryder and Anna in the middle of them.The photo of Anna was taken here after we cut down the huge tree, as she is standing on the stump with her work clothes on...She loved the clipboard and had to hang it immediately in her room...She is a sweetie. All girl with a Diva attitude and a sprinkling of tomboy, or is it the other way around....lol

Can you believe Summer is gone....

 Hello Crafty ones, I can not believe summer is about gone. Last week Wednesday it was 90 degrees and humid. by the weekend it was 60 degrees and blustery. I had to pull out my long undies to set up at the craft show. And it seems that over night we went from a beautiful summer sky to a threatening fall sky. And the last few days its been cold and windy. So I guess it is time to start thinking about fall themed goodies. Or finish up on the last of the Summer projects. I like to keep some Sumer projects for the dead of winter. It is so miserable here I like something to look forward to and warm my insides.. My friend from North Dakota cut these from Vinyl they are for truck and trailers, decals for the horse population, although she is so remarkable she could cut anything. Laurie you rock!!!

There are only a few horse shows left this year, which is so sad for me. But I will manage....

Addicted to Clipboards.....

This is a clipboard for my friend...A family theme...I seem to be addicted to clipboards this week. As I made 3 others as well, or at least started 3 others. The dots of gold stickles down the side of the lace really looks a lot better in real life... Good Morning crafty ones.....Gotta check this out!

With all the new changes and stresses in my life, I came to realize that crafting is a huge stress reliever, once it has my full attention I seem to be able to forget the daily grind. SO yesterday I created this. A clipboard for my friend in North Dakota, she is a wonderfully talented artist, and like me is as horse crazy as I am...I really should show you all the vinyl work she does for cars, trucks, trailers, well anything really...She also makes jewelry, and her talents are endless. Whats next..........

Murphys law, is alive and  living in m world. And frankly I wish Murphy would take his law and move on to a new location. If I told you what all has happened and I would be here for weeks. But being the stubborn old bag that I am I am beating the odds...
Over the past months I have worked on a few projects and have been able to finish a few things. Things are quieting down a bit so I felt it time to get back at it. For the sake of my sanity...lol
I have truly missed all of you, and have missed seeing all of your incredible works of art.I have a lot of catching up to do. And can not wait to get started...

All done with the Promos on the line...

 Hello crafty ones, I am completely finished with all the little details of the new line, well as finished as one can get. And now it's time to get back to doing what I love...Paper Crafting.. Although I have been away for a bit, I am back with an even bigger for paper crafting.
